Yacht Starship's food and service have been rated 3-diamond by AAA which ranks in the top 28% of all restaurants. Our cruises consist of public 'restaurant-style' dining as well as private 'banquet-style' events specializing in corporate, convention, social and wedding events.

Pirate Water Taxi is a hop-on, hop-off water taxi service along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa, servicing 14 stops over a 3-mile route. The Lost Pearl offers pirate adventure cruises in downtown Tampa.

Job Description

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and expediting all aspects of marketing across all sales markets for Yacht StarShip, Pirate Water Taxi and the Lost Pearl. The Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with the President/CEO, graphic designer, street team, marketing vendors and other internal teams.

Specific responsibilities

Will include but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans for general and specialty cruises
  • Social media posting and analysis on social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc. with a focus on increasing followers and engagement
  • Analyze ROI of different media outlets, revenue tracking, etc.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and Google Analytics to create and monitor advertising campaigns
  • Website updates and development using WordPress with knowledge of SEO
  • Write and execute weekly e-blasts for all three brands
  • Special event cruise development, creating new cruise offerings or enhancing existing cruise offerings
  • Graphic design (a plus, but not required)
  • Responsible for working with designer on ads and marketing collateral
  • Direct marketing efforts for several brands simultaneously
  • Hospitality experience a plus

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 3-5 years’ experience creating and analyzing paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with SEM/Google Ads
  • Experience using WordPress. Knowledge of SEO
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Ability to work independently on projects as well as in a team setting
  • Must be well-rounded and well-versed in media such as digital, outdoor, print, radio, tv, social media
  • Initiative and desire to learn and grow

Hours: 40-50 hours per week, typically Monday – Friday with occasional special event cruise attendance required to develop new content and take photos. This is not a hybrid job and all hours are worked in the office. Remote work not available.
