Description

The world-famous Flora-Bama is currently seeking a bookkeeper/accountant to join our team. This person will be responsible for reconciling daily sales, preparing and analyzing financial statements, cutting checks, interfacing with owners and managers, reconciling bank statements, working on insurance and audits, processing sales tax payable, accounts payable, accounts receivable and weekly payroll, and dealing with accountants, bankers, and other vendors.

This position is full-time. Ultimately, we are looking for an individual that will be a critical member of our finance and accounting team for the long term. We are hiring for this position immediately.

Benefits include health insurance (50% paid by the company), 401K with a 2% company match, paid vacation, access to dental insurance, and a flexible work schedule. Work is typically accomplished during the week, but the business does require a presence on property on key weekends throughout the year.

Experience Required ( Salary $40K-$50K)

  • 3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • CPA certification desired
  • A Bachelors Degree required ( Accounting or Business Administration preferred)
